Liz Pole is the Tiverton & Honiton Constituency Labour Party‘s candidate for the next election.
Liz lives with her family and works near Axminster, and her children are at local schools. She is the only candidate running for election who actually lives in the Tiverton and Honiton constituency, so is well placed to understand local issues.
Liz owns a profitable business software company trading in the UK and internationally. She is a school governor, is on the Health and Wellbeing Forum and runs a grant-funded women’s empowerment programme. She has been a girl scout leader and chaired school fundraising efforts for many years. She enjoys walking and swimming on the Jurassic coast.
Labour’s transformational policies to protect our environment and to achieve net zero carbon output and boost jobs by investing in new green technologies inspire Liz. Her economics degree from Manchester Business School informs her belief in a Britain united by shared prosperity and opportunity, universal health and education services, proper infrastructure, rural economy and small business support and investment.
Over the lead up to the election Liz will be out and about in our constituency, talking to constituents and building on the mass of canvassing work she has done over the last 3 years as a local labour activist, and more recently as Chair of the Tiverton and Honiton Constituency Labour Party.
